This was so crazy to write. I thought it would just be a simple conversation story, but it grew so much in the telling! My first ideas were pretty big ones, and I decided that I wanted to scale back - make it a human-scale story, rather than it being big and dramatic. Still couldn't get to that 'simple conversation' story though, no matter how hard I tried.
