Yuletide Reveal
Jan. 15th, 2015 06:01 pmTitle: The Cougar Way
For AngeNoir
Fandom: The Losers (2010)
Pairing: Carlos "Cougar" Alvarez/Jake Jensen
Summary: In which Cougar is not a vampire, and things do not go to hell.
Look! I wrote a story last year! And it was slash and everything. I'm pretty happy with it as it is something that I would like to get. AngeNoir's list of fandoms matched my reading list for the past couple of years, with all of my favorite urban fantasy/paranormal romance universes in her request. Her kinks also aligned strongly with mine, so I thought 'wow, this will be like writing for myself, and I'm not sure I can do that...' The story did shrink and move fandoms as the deadline approached, as I always think about more than I can write. :) I did try to keep some of the urban fantasy/paranormal romance vibe without actually including anything supernatural in it, and I only had time for a very short sex scene. Still and all, I like how it turned out, and that's not something i say all that often. I pretty much hate my writing when I get done.
Many thanks to Gwyn, who made the story a lot better. A ton of thanks for that. Thanks as well to Movies_Michelle, who gave me a final proofing pass as I made it just in time to the deadline. You both rock.
