I am grumpy and ill and will not be able to meet people tonight because I am coughing up a lung. I also have serious sinus congestion so it hurts to read, but I would love recs for a couple of light, sweet stories if you have some close at hand. Otherwise, I will go back to my personal NCIS marathon as that show is so undemanding, and it plays like a bazillion times a day on cable.

Which is really kinda awesome, when you don't want to get up off the couch.

I'd just gotten a cup of hot tea, and managed to spill it all over my hand. I ran my hand under cold water and iced it for awhile, then went to the company first aid kit for burn gel and a gauze pad. Now my hand is mummified, as I could only find big gauze and big bandages. Fortunately, it still allows me to type. But now people are giving me big sympathy, and I just feel like an idiot for trying to carry too much at once. Some days, man...
