Guys, I got a great, fabulous, fantastic Burn Notice case story for Yuletide, Lock and Keys. From the opening voice over, which sounded exactly as it did on the show, to the case plot and the character interactions, it was note perfect. In fact, all the dialog between the character is terrific. The banter is spot on: Michael's intensity shines; Fiona's quick witty comebacks to both Sam and Michael are fun and I can absolutely hear her voice in them; plus Sam's absolute love of the better things in life and willingness to roll with the punches for these guys is threaded through everything he does. I can't list my favorite bits of dialog, as there are just too many of them; the characters are the best part of a story for me, and the writer really caught Michael, Fi, and Sam.

The plot is cool, too, with a seamy underworld human trafficking story that could have been on the show. And I got to have my Sam, Fiona, and Michael scene at a fancy hotel, with Fiona and Sam in fetish gear; hard to pull off in a single story, I tell you! Their interaction before the party made me laugh. The whole story was fabulous, the case fascinating, and it hit just the right note in all their relationships and the dialog. Really a wonderful read.
