Baking Farr
Nov. 24th, 2008 05:46 pmToday was the pilgrimage to the store to buy the base food for the thanksgiving feast. I'm still not sure I have enough cream, or enough eggs. Tomorrow I will make the cinnamon rolls that I'll stick in the refrigerator until Wednesday morning, when they'll come out for their final rise and actual baking, so they'll be warm for the brunch that his school is doing. That afternoon, I will try my hand at pumpkin and chocolate pies, and in the evening, it will be time to brine the turkey.
*ack* I have not done a thanksgiving meal at home in years. Wish me luck, I'm going in.
