I am already getting myself tangled up in this "looking for work" thing. I have a nintendo interview on Monday--just a prelim with the HR person--and my old consulting firm wants me for something at 2:00 pm. (I've asked them to move to to 2:30)

Tuesday at 10:00, it's coffee with another consulting firm, and then Wednesday is Ev's school conference for registration. Thursday then is the all school picnic that evening.

And I have already had 1 HR person interview and the hiring manager interview at another company, so they might want me next week for an in-person round as well. It's all just wacky.

Love doesn't seem to be the option right now. But jobs that don't suck do seem on offer.

Things are rolling, that's certain. All of it is contract work, but none of it looks really horrid. I don't have the perfect fit yet, but I'm working on it.

Yeah! Floored me that people wanted to interview me so quickly. I am amazed that my skills are in demand. I swear, this last job was really bad for me, in that it got me to doubt a lot of my strengths.
