To My 2007 Yuletide Santa

First of all, thank you so much for signing up to write for
yuletide! I'd be happy with a story in any of the fandoms I listed, and I'm excited that you volunteered to write it. I hope I gave you enough details in my original sign-up, but just in case I didn't:
What I'd like the most is a story that your proud of, that shows off the characters and what they are like. As this is Yuletide, I'd like to stick closer to canon than not, but don't worry about reading all of the books in the sequels to The Circle of Magic series. The first set should do if you haven't read the others. I also asked for all relationship/character study type stories, but level of explicitness is up to you. Gen friendship is fine if you don't want to do anything explicit. I really want a happy ending.
Other likes: First times, banter, teasing, light humor, found families, hurt/comfort, self-realization, self-reliance, wistful regret, second chances, dreams, romance without schmoop, adventure, ass kicking, competency, angst, exotic settings, themes about trust and love.
Some dislikes: noncon, pregnancy, death or permanent disability, heavy kink. I'm not keen on first person POV or all dialog stories.
I think that's it for this year! I hope you have a good time writing, and let the mods know if you have any questions.

P.S. just in case you want to look at what I said over the years, here are the links to some of my old letters:

My 2005 Santa Letter
It's funny how they all say pretty much the same things.
