Give me something good and long to read

Hiya! I have finished the longer story that I was reading on the kindle, the Black Helicopters series. The only thing I have read this year other than that was Seperis's Star Trek stuff, fiercelydream's white collar/leverage crossover, and a couple of iron man stories. So, can you recommend to me a longer story (I like longer stories for the kindle right now) that was published between November 2009 and Today? I guess I could search delicious, but I am being very lazy today.

The Ebook Library has a lot of LONG stories. :) I wasn't sure which fandom you'd be interested in so I just sent you the search box. You can search 50k-100k, 100k-200k, 200k-500k, and 500k and up.

I'm slowly but surely trying to get epub and mobipocket versions for these stories but I'm pretty much the only one working on the site so it's slow going. If you'd like to me to convert something that's not already in mobipocket drop me a line and I'll bump it up to the top of the queue.

"Notes: The following story is the vaguely stoner offspring of comics from the '70s and Harlequin Presents romance novels... yeah, I don't know either. It follows 616 canon up to Invincible Iron Man #09, then goes fantastically AU."

Constructs in Progress by muccamukk. AU, mature themes, het/poly/slash, 30,000 words, published in May 2010.

Heart of Steel (part 1 of 18 so far) by muccamukk. AU, PG-13, crack-sweet-crack. This isn't finished yet, but the first 18 parts are really good (and fingers crossed she updates again soon!).

White Collar, Neal/Peter/Elizabeth:
The Reasonable Doubt 'verse by china_shop. Explicit, 45,782 words. "First time set in the first half of season 1. Originally posted in 19 parts to livejournal."

Contractual Obligations: A Love Story in Three Traffic Lights by shaenie. Explicit, 40,025 words. "The way Neal says it, though, amused and dismissive, is almost insulting. Of course Peter would never do such a thing, Neal's tone implies. Absurd notion."

One quick question: is contractual obligations done? It says 'a love story in three traffic lists', and there are two parts on the archive. So is it complete, or is AO3 missing the third part?

I don't have a kindle. May I ask, what does it take to "kindlize" something? Is there a better format than others for the process? Would you prefer a link to the story at AO3, or does it matter?

Basically, you can either take an HTML page and run it through a converter, or let amazon do it for like a dime. And if you have an AO3 link, that would be great, as their pages convert really easily.

I was thinking fanfic, but I'll take some pro recs too. I have zoomed my way through the rest of the black jewels series, the hunger game, and Moon Called (Mercy thompson book 1). I have not read this many books in such a short time in quite a while. I'm loving it, and am happy I went back to work so I could support my ebook habit.

You might try a novel called Amazon Ink. I'd give you the author but Dragon's reading it in the other room. I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to more in the series.

Do you read rpf? pinto, specifically, because if so, A Passage That Sings (http://dorkorific.livejournal.com/77392.html) by dorkorific, which I just read recently even though I don't read in that fandom, lol, is fanastic.

I also highly recommend Apples are not the Only Fruit (http://www.waxjism.org/bex/ai01_apples.html) by bexless in my current fandom, adam/kris... I have a ton of other recs in this fandom, but in addition to being amazing, I think as an au, this fic is really accessible to anyone.:)

And the length of story isn't indicated, either. I know you're looking for longer things... have you read Jerakeen's More Myself With You? (not really au). And omg have you read Winterlive's post apoc au?! Oh my gosh, and have you read Astolat's "zombie" fic? Not actually zombies, incredibly good.

By the way, there are also a few fantastic adam/someone else stories, which I also have bookmarked by their own tags.

Books: seanan_mcguire's October Daye series, urban fantasy with a noir twist that's really wonderful.
