Hi! Hello! Still not yet back on planet fandom. I did just start a new job though, so maybe now that I have less time, I will start to get my life organized.

Maybe.

Good thoughts for my cat Claire, please! Poor thing developed pneumonia over the weekend and she's staying at the vets right now getting IV antibiotics. I feel so sorry for her, having had pneumonia myself, but we did catch it early so things looks very good. Hopefully she will come home today and be able to spend some quality snuggle time watching TV on the couch.

She's doing better! They had to keep her an extra day until her fever went down, but she's talking obnoxiously once again. We knew something was wrong when she was so quiet...

She's doing better, thanks! She came home tonight, and seems to be doing okay; bald spot where they had they IV hooked up, and she's not terribly active, but she never was. ;)

Job is good, but it's weird to be at work again. I'm working in finance, with forecasts and budgets, so it's not exciting though it is interesting. Have to see how it goes.

And claire's home now, yay! I am very happy about that.

I'm back at the old watering hole, in a different position and a different group, but it's very similar to something I did two years ago. So hopefully I will ramp up pretty quickly. And claire's home, which gives me much happiness.

She is much better, thank you! And the job seems good--I like the people I'm going to be working with--so while it's not the most thrilling thing around, it seems like a good place to land for the next year, until the contract ends.
