Hi! Sorry I fell off the face of the planet. Actually, I fell into video gaming for a bit, and tired, obsessive me with no job meant...way too much time to play. So, since I'm one of those people who gets less done the more time I have, that's pretty much what happened to my fannish life.

To combat this video game inertia, I have:
1) Signed up for project manager certification classes, which I am taking on Monday nights
2) Taken on the role of volunteer coordinator for the local community theater. (We're doing 'A…My Name Will Always Be Alice' which is an awesome show, but very challenging in some ways. It comes with a mature content warning as the song 'honey pot' is, uhm, way sexually charged. http://redwoodtheatre.org/2010/a-my-name-will-always-be-alice/

3) I'm helping coordinate a monster hunting team in the game. (yes, I cannot get away from my PM tendencies.)

plus I really am trying to find a new job.

I had a blast at bitching party, and had great time at sakuracon too. Hopefully once I start back to work, I will figure out how to be fannish again.

I'd totally love it if you posted a few comments about sakuracon. It was your tweats that made me want to look at vidding vs. amv in that survey i posted (hey, did you fill it out? http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q85QWJS). I'm also trying to get some comments from a friend who seems to be doing research on amv... cuz I have to give this talk about vidding in a week and a half (argh).

And what are you playing? also, PM training sounds like a great idea... my cousin is one at Intuit. It's a bit tough from a political perspective, but you'd be really good at it.
