Title: Patrick and the Flim-Flam Man
Author: Rachael Sabotini (
wickedwords)
Fandom: I think this needs an explanation. It's based on A Dog's Breakfast, which included references to a tv show, Starcrossed. And as we know, many SciFi TV shows end up having conventions centered around them, and some of those are ones where the actors show up. So, this is a universe with some or all of those elements: A Dog's Breakfast, Starcrossed, Stargate Atlantis, Sci-Fi conventions, RPS, and maybe some meta.
But if the thought of that makes your head hurt, just call it an SGA AU, and everything will be fine.
Other info: Patrick/John | PG-13 | 6450 words
Summary: Patrick was a free spirit, a rebel who liked to sort his fruit loops by color, while John was the stunt coordinator of Starcrossed, a late night sci-fi soap opera.
A/N: Thanks to blueraccoon, pouncer, Nicole V, elynross and Michelle Christian for the betas. It took a whole team to bring this one together, and all remaining mistakes are my own. This was written for Sidrin in yuletide 2008, and I am so sorry it took me so long to post.
