This is something that has been nagging at me since I saw the episode. It's kinda fiction, but not a complete story, and certainly not edited or beta-read. More a set-up for a thought.
Teyla, Ronon, John and Rodney came back from a mission to MX7-319 one day and found they couldn't stand being more than a few feet from each other; Rodney wouldn't leave his prescription mattress, so Ronon dragged his bed into the room, then dragged a mattress for Teyla and one for John.
The sex thing came later. But regular sex seemed to increase the amount of distance they could be from each other, so they all made sure to fuck around with their team members a lot. Carson kept saying that it would wear off, but wasn't very specific about what 'it' was; by the time the old priest from MX7-319 found them and explained about the great gift their soul bound had brought them, it was a little too late. The relationship was permanent, and the four were pretty okay with that.
So when they ended up on the Daedelus, and realized that they weren't going anywhere, the slight downer to the whole 'soul-bonded' thing came back to bite them: they'd all go together when the time came.
Teyla said she could feel it as the clock ran down, and it wasn't long before the others thought they could feel it too. So they found a big enough spot in for them all to sprawl out, yet still be together and waited as the ship powered down; they didn't have long to wait.
