I didn't watch it, but just from the buzz, I want to appologize for the cannibals in this movie. In the back of my mind, I know it's the media cannibals fault. We used the cannibal thing first, and we put the idea out there, that Highlander and Cannibals have a profound connection. And I am so very, very sorry for that.

In return, I link you to this review of the movie. Hopefully that will help with some of the bitter taste left in your mouth.

I saw someone mention Methos getting chased off by the cannibal motorcycle gang, winced, and wondered why the filmmakers had decided to descend to the levels of Highlander II and III. Yikes.

It should be noted that Highlander III is one of only two movies I actually walked out of the movie theater on.

huh. sounds like yet another highlander movie that DOES NOT EXIST. i really and truly love the mythos and fun of the highlander-verse... but honestly, this is the only franchise i know where completely f*cking up the canon rule-set mythos (again!) seems to be a hobby for the directors and stuff. among other things that DNE in this universe: dark quickenings and hot tubs of redemption; and the ahriman arc; movie 2, 3, endgame, and evidently, now this pansy-a** thing masquerading as a bright idea. sheesh.
