Professionals and Sentinel Complete

 I finished migrating my stories for The Professionals and The Sentinel over to A03.  Wow, Sentinel was a happy, silly fandom for me.  Also kinky. ;)  Speaking of kinky, next up is Phantom Menace, which is going to take me a bit to work through with the series stuff.  Anyone know if there's a collection for the old Sith Academy stories?  I'm not sure those stories can stand on their own, but oh well.  I guess they will if there's nothing else for it.

http://www.siubhan.com/sithacademy/ is still up. For a while it was down, but I see that Siubhan has restored it. Yay! I remember she was fairly protective of her stories, so I don't know if she'd consent to put them up on AO3, but perhaps someone who wrote for the series could persuade her. I think many of the other authors can still be reached via email, too.

Wowwww, Sith Academy! That is a blast from the far-distant past, for sure.

Are you feeling like migrating all these stories is worth it, for you? I'm about 90% decided that I'm going to take down the majority of my Phantom Menace stories, rather than migrate them to AO3. I was still learning how to find my ass with both hands back then, and I can't even bear to look at those stories long enough to repost them. But I think so fondly of that fandom, because so many of the people I know and love in fandom, I met there, directly or peripherally. (You included, tho we also had the HL convergence, but I think they sort of overlapped.)

I have a lot worse in my back catalog. :) I had to just post them as is, sucking them in from the URL without actually reading the story, and slapping an'early work' tag on them. There's some nostalgia in reading old stories, remembering old friendships and relationships, in jokes, and fun times just like you said. Post them, and then those that want to relive the memories can.

As a reader (though never active in PM), I say migrate them all. One of those stories might be some reader's very favorite, and she'll be so happy to find it again.

Hmm. I realize that I have an IRC story that I'm not really comfortable posting. Four of us wrote it, but I have lost touch with all of the writers and I am not comfortable posting it when they don't have a say in whether they want it on A03 or not. Hrmph. I think I might not convert it.
