It hasn't been a bad day, just along one. The weekend was busy--ushering for the play friday night, vidding on Saturday, and Sunday was L's birthday, so we saw Wolverine--and I think I got to work more tired than I'd been when I'd left it on Friday. It was one of those more dull days too, where I couldn't think of anything interesting to do, so I had to do a lot of, uhm, grunt work instead.
(You know. Things like...documentation.)
Ev went to a new martial arts class, and we're thinking he can do it in addition to his aikido this summer; the dojo has a tournament coming up at the end of summer, and Ev really wants to participate--basically, he wants to spar with someone. He's he working on that ninja dream, which I think is a little better than the mad scientist one; at least this way, there's less of a chance of the total destruction of humanity through a genetic experiment gone wrong.
(Poor Carson Beckett. He wanted to be an evil genius, but his temperament was all wrong.)
Fannishly, I've been all about the vidding: getting my vid show together for VVC, finishing the club vivid vid, and posting the vids from Escapade. Still not done with this, as I have to contact vidders for the vids (oh, how I loathe and avoid that part of doing a vid show), but it's getting better. I still have a bunch of Fanlore stuff to do as well.
Maybe I can get some of that done tomorrow. I think I am going to find a short story to read, and head for bed.
