Kitteh News
Jun. 18th, 2011 12:06 pmLilly is our relatively new girl kitty. We'd got her from a friend who was fostering her, after she was discovered in an alley. We'd had her tested for FIV when she was what we thought was 6 - 7 months in fostering; it came back inconclusive. So for the last 3 months, we have been breaking up fights between our old girl Claire and Lilly, and locking Lilly up at night so they couldn't accidentally scratch each other; we were trying hard to make sure that Claire didn't get infected. Well, the good news came in this morning -- Lilly is FIV free! No more breaking up cat fights for us, and no more spending the night in the guest room for her. We are thrilled at the outcome!
On another note, I had signed up for a local con that runs this weekend, but between cruise prep and father's day, I don't think I'll make it. I was going to go with Shereld, but she's having a bad time of it right now, which is another reason for my lack of motivation; I'd have to go by myself, and I'm just not up for that right now. Good thoughts for her, and I hope everyone at the con has a wonderful time.
