According to hope, the band did the filk song and vid for the first three movies, but was asked to pull it by FOX. Only when they had DH4 in the can, FOX then asked to write another verse for that movie, and released it as part of their viral marketing campaign. This version went up in early 2007, and is also on the DH4 DVD.
Fascinating, eh? And a heck of a lot of fun.
