My Birthday gift this year.

wickedwordsA couple of weeks before my birthday, my husband asked what I wanted this year.
I replied that what I wanted, he couldn't give me.
"Oh? What's that?"
"No bad news."
"How about we turn the internet off for a day instead?"
I stared at him open mouthed. "You, sir, are a genius."
We didn't turn off the internet, but we did shut down the computers and turn the phones and kindles to airplane mode for 12 hours - 8 am to 8 pm. The TVs stayed dark too, and we played a board game in the evening after dinner. It was a beautiful thing, and I heartily recommend it.
