Yes, oh yes.  I have fallen down that well.  There are two episodes to go in the first season, as my husband and I binged on it after I got him DC Universe for his birthday.  Oh, wow. Does it hit all of my loves: physical torment, mental torment, asshole main characters that you still kinda like anyway and -- apparently  -- immortality.  Slow show, things don't move at a break neck pace, and that gives plenty of time to showcase all the various was the characters loath themselves, all of them very valid reasons.  PLUS so much parallelism!   Mirrors upon mirrors upon reflections upon mirrors in both story structure and characterization.  I've really enjoyed it.

ETA: "Asshole" may not be a strong enough word for these characters. There's a lot to dislike about most of them.
