John Sheppard suffers from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) due to the large number of concussions he's had during his career, the last one being the one he received when his X-302 crashed while fighting Anubis's fleet, protecting Earth.

Meanwhile, Rodney McKay is an MD working in Area 51, trying to find a way to adapt alien technology to help improve various brain disorders and eventually cure his sister's epilepsy. He's gotten the okay to try his neural enhancer on a few veteran volunteers, and John is one of the test subjects for his experiments. When they first meet, sparks fly, and over time, Rodney has to deal with his growing attachment to his patient...

Ah, if only I had focus! Then I would write more on the series. I don't think 100-words a day could really pull this odd.

LOL! Would love to, but I have no focus. And this idea seems like it needs some of that dreaded research.

I love the thought of it! Now if I only could focus myself to get some writing done. I've been terrible about any sort of creative activity lately. On the bright side, I have watched a lot of TV.

Yes, yes, yes! I could really go for some H/c right now. And I know the 'falling in love with the doctor' thing is kind of squicky because of the power imbalance, but for a harlequin, that sort of thing is almost vital to the story holding together. It's fun to fantasize.
