Writing Day 1: Plans

While this is technically day 1, I have called in every bit of pre-set plotting I had to come up with my 1400 word total for the day. We'll see if I can't find myself some writer time at work and try to come up with something. I have never been one to sit down and write for long stretches; I'm more the distractable type, getting up and down and up again, so I rarely get into flow. I really want to learn how to get myself to stay seated for long enough to do a real chunk of a story, and I'm hoping this time to do that.

I'm cheering you on! I'm doing miniNano and set a super low count so as not to psych myself out. I'm super impressed with anyone trying actual Nano. I mean, when I'm in the zone I can produce a lot of words, plenty, but when I'm not.... Also I don't really seem to be able to fully outline ahead, but instead learn a lot about my story as I write.

Anyway, woo hoo, go you!

Oh, I know I have no way in hell of getting the actual novel written, but I figure it'll provide a shock to the system and get me doing something again. I'm also doing mininano, at 100 words a day, as that's my normal output. I'm hoping between the two, I can do more! Oh, the enthusiasm of that first day...

Oh wow, you could have fooled me! :D I totally believe you can write a novel this month. <3

I'm using the 100 words a day min. as a shock to my system because I've been pathetic about writing. As in, not doing it.
