Round 1 of help_haiti has finished, and I am the lucky winner of ohownovel's vegan snickerdoodles (which look fabulous!) and an NCIS vid from desiringpirates.

While I am fully prepared to eat vegan snickerdoodles (those that I can snatch out of my 16-year-old son's hands that is), I am woefully (and I mean woefully!) unprepared for choosing what to have made for my NCIS vid. I can't decide between an Abby vid, a McGee vid (shut up, all of you. I can hear you snickering.), a Ziva-and-her-awesomeness vid (because Ziva is awesome, I don't care what fannon says), or a team vid.

The real kicker is that I have no song in mind. The only NCIS on my mental list of vids is an ironic 'Barbie Girl' vid for Ziva, and really, I can't saddle a volunteer with that. Just...no. So here's my question:

What songs would you want to see made into an NCIS vid, and what characters would you like to see?

I know I don't watch the show, but I usually learn things by osmosis, and isn't his name G or Gee? McG is the producer/director guy who's everywhere these days. Right? Or am I completely out of touch?

NCIS is series 1, while NCIS:LA is series 2. McGee is on series 1, and G is on series two. Completely understandable how those could be confused. It's weird that they'd have major characters with names so close together.

I am having similar problems with the person I won. She doesn't get my sense of humor and does not see that Jerry Springer by Weird Al would be the best SVU vid ever. Can I piggy back on to your post and if anyone has an SVU, Veronica Mars or Dollhouse vid idea, let me know?

Plus McGee is my guy on that show. I don't have any specific song choices in mind but, I would love to see something that points out how much the team fails to notice how competant he is. I will try to think of something.

While it looks like several people would be interested in a McGee vid, no one has a current song that would be a good fit. So I think that he's out for this round, but if you stumble on something later, I think you should vid it!

I didn't actually bid on anyone, as everyone I wanted was kind of out of my price range this time. Right now I'm waiting for my winner to get back to me on what she wants me to write: I'm kind of excited.

I love Leonard Cohen. "I'm Your Man" was used for a great genderbending vid by Charmax, so I wouldn't want to resuse that song. Otherwise, he does have a good Gibbs voice as well.
