Looking for Vid Show suggestions!

I'm running the "All in the Family" vid show at Vividcon this year, and I could really use your help. I need a vid (or two) that centers on relationships between women: sisters, mothers & daughters, family spelled 'team' from a female perspective. I've got a lot of male-focused vids, and vids where the women are part of a team, but really only one that is rumbling around in my brain that's got a woman's POV. Of course, all suggestions gratefully appreciated, and they can either be made be here or on the VVC page: http://vividcon.com/suggest.cgi

Go suggest vids for any of the shows. We all need the help.

I am still trying to figure out exactly how the suggestion process works (do I suggest a vid that already exists or offer to make one?), but I would be willing to make the following vids...

1. A mother & daughter vid involving Sally and Laurie Jupiter from Watchmen

2. A mother & daughter vid involving Lyra and Marisa Coulter from Golden Compass

3. Some kind of vid involving the girls in the Cullen family from Twilight

4. A vid involving Violet and Sunny from Lemony Snicket

AH! The suggestion process is for vids that already exist, in general. The VJ has to be able to watch them if they choose to, in order to evaluate how they fit in the shows. You can make a vids to premier in the themed vid shows, but there is no guarantee that it will make it in. People used to premier new vids in the vid shows all the time, but I don't know if that practice is still followed, since the deadlines are so tight anymore; for example, I have to have the vid show draft list together by next weekend, so I have to have viewed all the vids I'm thinking of for my show by then.

That said, you can also make 2 vids for premieres (if the 2nd one is short comedy, it has a good chance of getting in, generally speaking) You can also show a new vid in the nearly new show.

Now if I made one of the suggestions above this weekend and posted it on my site, IMEEM, YouTube, etc can I suggest it for your category or does it have to be submitted for the premiere show?

Also I am confused about ClubVid...did you have to submit something via the challenge or can you submit anything as long as it is in by May 1?

If you made the vid, you could suggest it for my show, rather than premieres. Or, you can put it in premieres or nearly new if you want; those are both open shows, and if you put it in nearly new, you can post it on-line as well as putting it in the show. Premieres can't be posted until after the show is over.

Club Vivid is much more rigidly structured. Absolutedestiny puts together the play list of songs based on suggestions, and then vidders pick those songs to make. Only the assigned vids get into the show, along with some old favorites that AD (and the concom. and some friends) picks. It's all pre-vetted before the vids are made.
