I decided to sign up for 3_ships. I always have at least one threesome that I request each year for yuletide, and Leverage was going to be my choice this year. After thinking on it, I decided while I would be fine with getting a gen friendship story for my OT3 -- Parker/Hardison/Eliot -- I'd be really unhappy with one where two of them were paired up, and the other had a significant plot-related role and a strong friendship with the couple. Since that last one wouldn't make me happy, I figured why not sign up for the threesome challenge and get the relationship I want?

That, and I'd have most of December to write. ;D

So I'm back to uncertainty about signing up for yuletide. The thousand word minimum is still tempting, but I've never been good about sticking with that, except for pinch hits. And two stories in two months might be too much, given the whole chemo thing. But stories and fandoms are shiny, and yuletide is shiny, so I'm still thinking on it. Maybe this will be the 'old shoes' yuletide, where I pick some comfortable old fandoms that I would love to see again.

No, I missed the sign up this time. I completely spaced it. I should write you a short Zelenka/Lorne ficlet to make up for it!

I am planning to sign up for Yuletide but to choose fandoms that are relatively easy for me to access -- things I own, things I've seen a bunch of times before (or read, ditto), things where I'm pretty sure I'll have a story to tell. I'm a little bit nervous about how having a baby due at the very beginning of December is going to impact my ability to write for Yuletide, you know? :-) Not the same as chemo by a long shot, but I just wanted to say: I hear you, loud and clear. *hug*

We'll hold hands and get through this process. I need to do something that makes me feel more connected with people. I really haven't been doing a good job of keeping in touch.

It was a totally cool icon that I picked up from tardis80. I don't remember a story going with it, but it's the definition of crack!fic for me.
