I'm afraid I fell out of LJ/DW for the past week, mentally psyching myself up for chemo and the side effects. I also had to deal with a song-and-dance regarding my thyroid (I had to get an ultrasound for it, so they could check about and see if they looked like normal nodules that could be dealt with later, or if they would have an impact on my chemo treatment, which in my head meant 'looks like cancer to us and now you're a possible stage 4'.)

Fortunately, I heard back from the onco nurse yesterday, and it's not going to have an impact. Yay! So I'm on the steroids today, and getting my first treatment tomorrow. Wish me luck, an easy treatment, and few side effects.
