Someone needs to take away fanlore from me until I get my sga_santa and yuletide stories done. I have the edits back on the sga story, but there's a lot of editing work required, and I really need to get that one done so I can finish writing the other. I've already met minimum on the yuletide story, but I've really only gotten the opening section down; it's got at least 2-3 more segments to do, so that's a lot more writing to be done.

I also need to sign up for the Tour de Cure for next year, and renew my cascade bike club membership. I've gotten most of the presents bought this year, so that's good.

Escapade looks like a dim hope for me; I have to get a job in January to be able to take the time off and afford it. Well, either that or win the lottery, and my numbers just did not come up last night. ;)

Still on my to-dos: exercise, writing, kid's taxi driver, but not editing fanlore.

JL just got back from his daily ride - I'm a chicken when it's this cold, even with no rain I don't wanna go out there (so I'm wasting my vacation days watching Recent Changes on Fanlore - hopeless).

Yeah, it looks like I won't be able to make Escapade either unless I get a really good job sometime this month or early January. I'd totally forgotten about vacation days. :(

I figure I'll tell them about it when I am offered the job, and hope it won't be a dealbreaker. I'm not expecting vacation pay for it, but I can't afford the airfare and hotel unless I am working.
