I also wiped the filter from my journal, and I had already deleted the season pass from my TiVo. I've decided I am done with the show, and I never was much for the fandom. I'm still interested in good Matt/Mohinder stories, but I'm going to pick them up from other people's recs, rather than seeking them out on my own. I could use having a little time back. New day, new start, right? Time to get rid of some old baggage, rather than keeping it hanging around.

Bit stunned, you know in a minor way. I'm a week behind the UK, viewing wise, and although this season does seem to be taking on shades of the Sopranos I think Adrian Pasdar and Malcom McDowell are excellent and Christine Rose more so, which is why I'm still watching. Then again I was never fannish about this show to begin with.

If you're bailing even a little because Matt Parkman seems to end up happily wed to Nemesis whose name escapes me, well I don't blame you there. My disbelief couldn't stretch there. Mohinder turning into the psycho-fly? Yes. Parkman future nuptial bliss? Not so much.

It's totally the Matt Parkman thing. The other characters are interestingly crazy, but not in a 'I must read fanfic about this' way. And I just couldn't invest myself in the rest of them with Parkman breaking my heart that way. It just wasn't working for me.
