Brief health update: After the last infusion, I started running a fever over the weekend. This led to a Sunday night visit to the ER, where a lot of tests were done. Upshot of everything was the catch-all 'virus' category, and I was on tylenol every 5-6 hours for the next 4 days. I was feeling enough better and my temp was down so that on Thursday, I made it into the office. Plus we got my bike set up in the house, and I put in ten minutes or so both yesterday and today; I'm still tired and dragging a bit this weekend, but really feeling much better.

So much better, that I am thinking of signing up for yuletide. I have 2 treatments left, so I would not be writing an epic,but I'm thinking I could do 1000 words. I haven't read or written any fan fic in weeks, so it would be nice to have some structure and maybe feel a little productive again.

At the moment, my list looks like:

Leverage: Parker/Eliot/Hardison
NCIS LA: Sam/G


...and then I fry out. I'm sure there are other fandoms I want. Maybe I need some suggestions.

Glad to see a post and that you're feeling a bit better.

And yay anyone even thinking about writing Sam/G. I'm totally down with that pairing. Parker/Eliot/Hardison wouldn't be bad either. *g*

I am so glad you're feeling better.

Yuletide yay! I am figuring I may not be able to swing much more than 1000 words either, this year -- and I am anxiously awaiting the handing-out of assignments so I can get cracking on those words; because omg, what if the baby comes early? I can't default on Yuletide!! -- so in that sense I'm right there with you.

The reason I keep mentioning Three Ships, is it has a longer period, it's a lot less complicated, you only need to have two requests, *and* NCIS counts as a fandom. Writing starts November 1st, and isn't due until 11:59 PM, Tuesday, December 29.

And stupidly, I'm considering both of them, despite the fact I haven't written a word since last yuletide.

Anyway -- I'm really not trying to push; do which ever you want to, or neither. I love you.

I signed up for 3_ships, so I will be writing a threesome this year, and getting one too! I'm still thinking about NCIS: LA for yuletide, but I want something that's a traditional season one type story, with the gen friendship moving into slash, and maybe a case in the background. And that's a lot to ask for a yuletide piece. I may have to write it myself.

I went ahead and signed up. I may sign up for yuletide too, but at least I have committed to doing one piece of fiction this holiday season. Go, me!

I've downloaded it for my next treatment! I need something interesting to watch while I'm getting the infusion, and I'm hoping this will hold my attention. Hey, if you know of anything else out there that might be of interest, let me know. Treatments on thursday, and boredom makes me anxious.

Right now, I know several trusty fans have been raving about a new con/hustle/crime show called White Collar, I just haven't seen it yet myself, but if it's anything like Leverage or Hustle that might be worth looking into.

Hmm, you've probably seen Hustle, right? If not, the first three seasons are just excellent, engrossing, clever and fun, and would be just the ticket.

Actually, I haven't seen hustle. I have seen white collar though, and it was a lot of fun.
