Yay, team NCIS vidding!

I loved the suggestions I got from people, and sent several off to my vidder with a one sentence concept of what I'd like the vids to be about. There was an amazing variety in what was suggested: folk, rock, pop, femslash, slash, team, and character study. I'm interested in seeing what pings for her (if anything), and what she makes of it. It's really kinda cool.

I'm hoping to clear out a backlog of vid ideas with the three vidders I won. I have yet to hear back from one (with good reason) but of the other two, one has happily taken a silly Snarry vid idea that I'd started ages ago and wasn't getting to work right and eventually dropped when I dropped out of HP fandom and a second has, wonder of wonders, happily run off with my really odd request. I got earwormed HARD by a song that insisted, since it woke me up one morning, that it was a Merlin vid waiting to happen. Unfortunately I've never seen more of Merlin than a few random vids and haven't really been inspired to watch it, so having a really insistent song for it has been driving me nuts. Now I will get a vid and it will hopefully leave me ALONE. I hope it's a lovely vid, but even if it isn't, if the song stops pestering me it will, even beyond the charitable aspects, be more than worth it.

That is awesome! We all have vids that nag at us at times, but we know we'll never make. I'm glad you found someone to do them for you!

The old version, not the new one NCIS:LA, though I watch that one too. It's been going for about 6 years, and it's a sleeper show--more popular now than it was its first few years. It's part crime show, part sitcom, part military fantasy, and part dysfunctional family/found family drama. It's also got some, uhm, Dom/sub stubtext running through it at times. Let me see if I can dig up an overview...

Word of warning: that was written about 4 years ago, and people have died and other changes have happened since then. I think it still gives a good idea on what the show and the characters are like.
