I had a great birthday today! It started early, on Thursday after the new sink was installed, and then Friday, we finally saw the Dark Knight. (Which, I have to say, was incredible and worth the hype I've been hearing.) Saturday I watched "The Day After Tomorrow" in all its cheesy glory, and tonight was the birthday dinner out at Claim Jumpers with J and B. I indulged, and got the breaded zucchini appetizer, then split the ore cart with my husband and son. Totally yummy. For dessert, the five of us split a piece of the Motherlode cake, which I had always wanted to try. So. Much. Chocolate. I couldn't finish my portion, which was basically a piece of single layer chocolate cake with mini-chocolate chips in it. After two weeks of very limited carbs, it was a lot, I tell you. But worth it.
