Just under deadline!

I finally signed up for Sweet Charity, adding my small voice to the special Writers Guild Foundation Industry Support Fund auction. I have been toying with the idea for awhile, and realized the deadline's tomorrow. So I finally got my act together and put in my ad:

I am willing to write a 2K word story in one of the following fandoms, with the listed pairing restrictions:

Heroes (Matt/Mohinder or Matt/Mohinder and Molly)
Highlander (Duncan/Methos only)
Stargate Atlantis (John/Rodney, Lorne/Parrish, Teyla/Elizabeth)
Stargate SG-1 (Jack/Daniel only)

I will happily write any rating from Gen to Adult for these relationships. I will write AUs, H/c, adventure, and sweet domestic stories, and I write a lot of angst. I don't write noncon, but some kink is negotiable. I don't write death fic. The death fic thing is the one that's non-negotiable.

I still have a whole day to make changes, so if there's something you passionately want me to offer, you have a little time to ask.

So...could the Krell be enticed to come out of semi-retirement for/through the auction? There was a whole lot of hurt and not quite enough comfort at the end of DP 34. I can't decide though. I want more, but that was a great chapter ending.

I cannot speak for my other cohorts, but if you buy me, I will see what I can do. If nothing else, I could write you some D/M comfort, and see if the others were willing to let me set it in the same universe.

Well...I've never been involved in an on-line auction before. And my first experience was a riot. I thought I'd have a chance to bid on about four different authors, including two-thirds of the Krell (and was trying to bid against the other third) - would have been happy with something in the DP universe or something completely new. But alas the site hit the "critical level of awesome" as I tried to "sneak" in at the end (still chuckling at my own crtical level of naivete. Good luck with whatever you end up writing for the sweet charity auction. It was fun for me anyway, while it lasted.

I'm glad you had fun with it! I'm a little stunned at how heavy things got there at the end.
