Hi!  Thank you so much for volunteering to write me a story in any of my chosen fandoms.  If you are stuck, I hope this letter gives you some ideas for things you can write.  If you already have an idea for one of the characters I asked for, go for it. If it involves more characters than the ones I requested, I am fine with that.  I want you to have fun writing the story and not stress every optional detail I have suggested.

If you are here looking for potential treat-inspiration, I would love to get a little something extra in my stocking if you felt like writing it. 

 

My Requests:

Fandom: Ghosts (US TV 2021)

• Flower | Susan Montero
  
• Alberta Haynes
  
• Hetty Woodstone

I'd love to see more of Alberta, Flower and Hetty developing into a ghostly sisterhood. Not one of the traveling pants, but maybe a traveling something.  Feel free to add any of the other charactacters to the story's focus on my chosen ghosts.

A thought, with subpoints:

Slumber party for reasons, with the sisterhood talking about:

1. Sex through the ages!  We know that Flower was pretty bold, and Hetty reserved (though very, very, very interested), but what about Alberta?  
2. Both Flower and Hetty indulged in mind-altering substances,  and we know Alberta ran with bootleggers; did Alberta also partake in Jazz cigarettes?
3. Anything that at least one of them feels pushes the bounds of propriety
4. All of them encountered the same thing -- a dolphin statue, say, or other object -- and each has a story to tell about it.  No idea what, but it seems like there might be a hidden compartment of possibilities inside it.

Fandom: Star Trek: Lower Decks (Cartoon)

I'd love to see Jennifer interacting with Mariner and her friends, particularly Boimler and Tendi. I'd also like to see her involved in one of their dust ups or even a heist.

Some quick thoughts:

We got to see Mariner with Jen's friends; I'd love to see Jen with Mariner's, now that their relationship has progressed to being couple-ish.  What would happen if Jen was in charge of their work crew, with Mariner assigned elsewhere?  Would Marier try to spy on what's going on?  Would there be a whole apocalypse-level story happening to one of the groups that the others keep catching sight of? Just have fun with the relationships, and I'll enjoy it.

Fandom: Harley Quinn (Cartoon 2019)

Romance and crime, is there anything better? I love the irreverence of the two of them, and the absolute normal life that all of this crazy, ultra-violent stuff happens to them. Anything is good, from a day at the steam baths to a fancy dress ball or rocket to the moon. Something weird is always going to pop up.

A couple of quick ideas:

Class Reunion: What about the Riddler University students? Or Ivy once had a professor she liked, who is finally retiring.

Oops!  Harley tries to treat Ivy to a celebratory mud bath for her birthday, and it turns out to be a trip to an endangered environment instead.  

Fandom: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (TV)

It seems like these two have a history..and a potential future. I'd love to see more about them. I don't really have any instant scenarios for what I think about them doing together, but I'm hoping that a trope like shore leave - going to a bar together and getting into intrigue and mystery might help.  

In general, stuff I like includes:

• Relationships  - Any rating from a friendship story to an adventure story to epic romance to slash or femslash erotica. I like seeing characters and relationships put to the test in some fashion -- whether that's a big epic adventure or a small, closed door conversation, I leave up to you. 
• Worldbuilding -   Even if it's not an official option in the fandom, please bring in other characters if you want, including original characters. My selected characters should be the focus, but there are a lot of other people in the universe too.
• A slow reveal - could be romance, could be crime, could be psychological horror, could be a quest or a case.  I like it when things take a little time. 
• Happy/hopeful endings
• Hijinks and capers 
• Banter, puns, and wordplay
• A story narrated by an original character, animal companion, or inanimate object 
• What if...? Alternate histories, alternate universes, slight canon side steps -- all good
• Competent people doing competent things (or super-lucky people doing super-lucky things.  That works too.)

Tropes I Love:

• Enemies to Friends, Friends to Lovers, Friends to Family.
• First times
• Dark pasts and hidden secrets
• Second chances
• Hurt/comfort
• Feeling not good enough for someone else
• Forced to share - some food, a book, a bed, a small submersible, an airship ... 
• Fake relationship turns real
• Road trip

Do Not Wants:

• DNW: Non-canonical permanent disability or death of requested characters. Canonical death is fine! Currently dead and loving it, all good. Dead but feeling better, that's awesome too.
• DNW: Requested character being pregnant.  Having had kids is fine, I just don't like the 'being pregnant' thing.  But you might be able to convince me that Boimler can carry it off.
• DNW: GRIMDARK.  Angst is triple-plus good, but not unrelenting misery.
• DNW: Social embarrassment, like dropping a bowl of food all over a friend at a big party and drawing everyone's attention.  Unless it's part of a caper/heist/ploy, then it's okay.

Enjoy writing your story and I'm sure I'll love reading it. All of the details are optional, and I’m happy to leave specifics up to you. Like I said, I love these characters and I'll love whatever you choose to write in any of these fandoms. I'm really looking forward to it!
