On the Atlantis-as-a-woman front, I was fascinated during the first part of the ep by the implication that Elizabeth was a kind of metonym for the city: both of them failing, both of them in danger, both of them requiring heroic measures.

Yeah. This premiere made me really, really happy. :-)
