Oh, I imagine that there will be the usual things, talking about co-dependancy and setting boundries and barriers, and so, for everyone's sake, they try to back off from one another--Rodney sees Katie Brown, and John starts sleeping with anything that moves--but they are utterly miserable, until the one moment when they are alone together in the jumper, and Rodney looks up from where he's working on the console, catching John's eye...and in that instant both of them know what a sham it all is, and how much they miss each other, and John reaches out and runs a finger down Rodney's cheeks, and then kisses him. From then on, it really does work out.
